Issue Report

 

Adding a Quick Report to the list:

  1. The Quick Reports feature enables you to define a list of predefined reports that can be used over and over again, without the need to redefine them every time you wish to display a specific report.
  2. Click on ‘Add report to list’.
  3. Select the report query fields on the Step 1 page and click on ‘Step 2’.
  4. Select the report query parameters and click on Step 3.
  5. Select the columns you wish to display on the report.
  6. Type the Quick Report’s name in the ‘Quick report name’ field and click on Save.

 

Editing a Quick Report:

  1. Select a Quick Report from the list.
  2. Click on ‘Edit selected report’.
  3. Change the settings of the Quick Report. Use the Step buttons to move between pages.
  4. Click on Save on the ‘Step 3’ page to save your changes.

 

Distributing a Quick Report to several users:

  1. Click on Issue Report.
  2. Select the Quick Report you wish to distribute and click on Distribute selected report.
  3. Select the users and click on Distribute as.

 

Deleting a Quick Report:

  1. Select a Quick Report form the list.
  2. Click on ‘Delete selected report’.
  3. Click on Yes to confirm.

 

Keyword search in long text fields (Title, Description etc.):

  1. Add the long text field to the report query menu (click on Issue Report -> Customize Report -> add the field to the query field list and update.
  2. Type the keyword in the appropriate field on the report query menu page.
  3. Use a leading + to make keyword mandatory.

 

Login

 

Auto login to multiple accounts:

  1. Check the automatic login checkbox on the Login page and login to one of the accounts.
  2. Do not click on the Logout button. It will erase the auto login setting.
  3. Use the following URL to login to the different accounts (your username and password should be the same in all accounts): http://www.elementool.com/cgi-bin/loginPage/login.asp?accName=accountname

 

 

Welcome Page

 

Changing user password:

  1. Click on Welcome.
  2. Click on ‘Change password’
  3. Type in your new password and click on Update. 

 

Customizing the Welcome page:

  1. Click on Welcome.
  2. Click on ‘Customize Welcome page’.
  3. There are two separate sections to the Welcome page. Each section can display different statistic information.
  4. Type the section caption in the Caption field.
  5. Select that type of information to display in the ‘Display all’ field.
  6. Define how to group the displayed information in the ‘Group by’ field.
  7. Define the way you want the information to be displayed: Text table, Bar chart or Pie chart.
  8. Check the checkbox if you want the report results to be exported to Excel or displayed in a Printable format.
  9. Click on Update when finished.
